This is way overdo and I apologize profusely for the delay
in thanking you for the help months ago.
The bathroom flood caused damage, so there was all of the
damaged stuff to pull up and get rid of, the restoration
company to deal with for weeks and then months to get all
the workers coordinated and replacement items purchased and
to keep it all in budget of what the insurance company gave
us. On top of that my school schedule for this semester is
brutal for an old pup like me returning full-time. We have
everything done to the house and now want to paint and
freshen up the kitchen and stairs to basement.
Anyway, again I thank you kind friend for your outreach.
Bert and Ernie have had no more issues, they were stressed
being locked in a small corner of the kitchen during the
work, but we walked them weather permitting and stayed in
there with them as much as possible. They now are back to
normal, although both beds are in the kitchen/dining room in
different areas and they prefer to spend some time alone and
not all piled up as they have while younger. They turned 11
in Jan. and their muzzles are turning white, Ernie has
almost no copper left on his muzzle, so they are looking
like aging dachshunds, but still play and tussle and are as
stubborn as ever.
I do not have your home address to send a thank you card,
but wanted everyone here to know how generous you were in my
time of need.
Now if you could just help me with Anatomy and Physiology
and Microbiology that would be wonderful.
