My 13 year old Staffy/red cattle cross has just developed chronic anxiety every time my new partner sneezes or blows his nose. Sounds silly, I know. He gets hay fevour and sneezes quite a bit and they are loud sneezes. My dog thinks he's yelling and she freaks out totally. In the morning when he blows his nose in the shower (god he sounds like a freak himself now!!! lol) she runs around terrified, panting and licking her chops with anxiety. I tried giving her a biscuit everytime he sneezes but she wont even consider eating when its happening. Does anyone know how I can de-sensitive her to my new boyfriend??
