they are a tad excitable. THey are small and have small bladders. Both males and females are very prone to UTIs. I have one little guy who gets a UA every quarter. and they often have trouble focusing their attention - and learning requires attenion. One of the most important benefits of the methods Callie described is that it slows down the whole process of what is going on. It takes a dog's eye view, and helps the dog pay attention to what you are communicating to her.
good luck with this little girl!patience and consistency will pay off. But you have to be absolutely absolutely consistent. If YOU don't do the program, even once, her bad habit will just be that much more reinforced.
