she's smart. Oh boy is she smart. And Aussies are known barkers when they are lonely or bored. This puppy is going to need very much of your time. All Callie said! and you can start now teaching her how to play nicely. Don't play tug with her, but do play fetch in the yard. She won't fetch yet - but she will pick up on the give and take of appropriate play. Praise her lavishly when she is playing with appropriate toys. Praise her for paying attention to you, for looking at you when you say her name. She's a shepherd. she was bred to have a very tight bond with her person. She will not do well left alone too much with nothing to do.
