it IS hard hon -- trust me, no one knows better than I do. I lost Muffin the Intrepid, Ms. Socks, AND little Pollyanna (the pup that had been abused with the broken back that we adopted) ALL within six months.
I thought I would lose what little mind I had left.
But remember -- the fact that you ARE devastated simply says SO much about Teddie. what an awesome, wonderful friend you had who meant SO much -- *hugs* Had Teddie not been such a wonderful friend you'd never miss them ... but the fact that you DO so much, simply says it all about Teddie.
But ... just remember. They just don't live as long as we wish -- but that's so you can crowd your life with more ... try a little volunteer work. Not to try to bring a dog home (unless you want to) ... but simply go help with adoption day at a local PetSmart or something -- they NEED folks who will simply fill water bowls, take dogs for a walk, etc. Or have a bake sale and take the proceeds to your local shelter. Anything to honor Teddie's memory ... and give yourself some new memories.
