Thank you both.

Yesterday and today, I didn't go to work (well, I work from home, but I need to go to the store and UPS every day for a few hours and didn't today and yesterday)

I also didn't walk her in the morning either today or yesterday. At the usual time we would have gotten back from the morning walk (11am-noon) she started to show slight symptoms, like she went under the bed, and followed me around urgently, and both symptoms only lasted a few minutes.

I turned on the radio also. This seems to help her, almost immediately after the radio is on, she came out from under the bed and relaxed on her own bed.

And the rest of the day today and yesterday, she was fine.

The problems are, I can't not go out every single day. Also, the dogs get no exercise during the day.

I'm not sure which it was: me not going out, or not walking her in the morning.

So I should start with a full blood panal?

Her hair only falls out when she's in the anxious state, so even though she was at the vet a couple weeks ago, he didn't see her hair loss. The clumps I find are maybe the width of a finger but I don't see any bald spots on her.

I try to ignore her when she's anxious, so not to encourage the behavior. When she came out from under the bed though, I did say "good girl" and gave a treat.

Tomorrow I have to go out for work. I think I'll not walk her and go to work and my mom is home so she can let me know how she was. In the past though, my mom has said about 1 hour before I get home my dog starts this anxious behavior (following my mom around, shaking) and after I get home she greets me happily but then goes right back to being anxious still for hours even though I'm home and relaxed. If I take her out on a walk right after I get home, after we get back inside she'll act anxious as if we never went out.

Nothing on a walk scares her. She acts very happy on walks, running around and wanting to play.

We've had little ants in the kitchen but I don't think the dogs even notice them. I don't hear anything in the walls...but maybe there could be a bee hive that's a good idea. Especially if the radio on seems to help. And also she gets nervous if the wind blows something that makes a noise, like a plastic bag rustling. The windows have been opened for a couple months though, so not new.

She cries the entire time if I leave the house and my car is still in the driveway. If I want to jog around the block, I have to park my car down the street. That had been going on for longer. But she was never anxious when I left with the car until the last 2 weeks. And when I got back she stopped being anxious, but not anymore.

I'm sorry for rambling on and on. The dogs have their agility class tonight and the trainer said she'd talk to me about this tonight.

So the first thing I'll do is make an appointment for bloodwork. Talk to the trainer tonight. And I guess just test out leaving the house without walking her tomorrow.

I really wish I knew what I was doing wrong, so i'd just stop doing those things! But I don't coddle her when she's anxious...I'm always willing to go on a long walk with her, or she loves to jog with me or job alongside my bike. In the house she doesn't play much. Maybe that's part of the problem? The only game she likes is to be chased with a toy in her mouth.

Anyway thank you again and I'm sorry if this was so long winded.
