Liverwurst should be fine as long as the dog doesn't have a history of pancreatitis (where you'd have to be super careful of fat content).
Remember -- I take in dogs of ALL ages. You remember SOCKS?? She was like 10 1/2 when I got her (got her back when you and I were both hanging around on The Poop!!!)
I knew you'd lost your white GSD -- was hoping a rescue would pick YOU, cos you're a good Dog Dad.
You honestly don't need years of training. Try what I described -- you might need to have 2-3 extra pieces to help convince the dog to swallow quick but generally both liverwurst and just plain meat baby food BOTH are smelly enough to do the trick. The baby food is messy to try to do with your fingers but often just a plastic spoon works GREAT.
It's good to see you.
The forum is sometimes busier and sometimes not. VegSource is about to re-launch itself so hopefully it will stir up traffic again.
You see NAG below? That's NigelAbbyGretchen from back in ThePoop days. It's pretty unusual to find a place where the folks that flow in and out have known each other as long as some of us have known each other.
Don't be a stranger -- you're always welcome, even if it's just a "Howdy".
