I sent her a card... Man, when I first came to the board, she was still a little girl, not even in high school yet. This kid's efforts in life in general were really inspiring - she had a grand dream and NOT an easy road to get there at all. She had SO much that could have stopped her cold, but she didn't let that happen. I'm proud to know her.

She also kept us all up to date with sweet stories about Blossom, the blind guinea pig. Years later, when I had dogs with handicaps, I remembered Blossom and those examples helped me figure out how to give my dogs a better life.

She'll make a great vet.
