Subject:	liquid poop

my four month old boxer puppy had liquid poop and we fed him chicken and rice for 2 days. He eats 2x a day and after his first regular meal it is still soft. IS this normal and if so how long does it usually take before the poop has body.
Thank you. This is my first dog.
