Just wanted to let everyone know I officially retired from pug rescue a few weeks ago. I feel badly but I just couldn't continue. The challenges had become too much for me emotionally and recently even physically. Thank goodness I had some wonderful ladies in training who stepped right in and took up the torch. I am here with advice and direction as needed but these girls have literally brought new life and energy to our local rescue group.
I have started semi-volunteering with an organization called Mission Possible and specifically their Church Under The Bridge Ministry. I am focusing on helping the homeless who have pets. So far it has been a wonderful experience. I hope to expand beyond handing out dog food and supplies to actually locating a vet who is willing to donate some services.
I am also staying on board with pug rescue but focusing on fundraising. Which brings me to my request. I am organizing a cookbook. I am looking for recipe submissions and also ideas for a name (pug related hopefully). If you have any ideas or recipes let me know.
