Farley did this. Took us *months* to get a proper diagnosis of torn CCL.
We had to get TPLO, and just got our clearance from it last Monday to go back to normal activity.
Very similar symptoms to hip dysplasia. Try to see if when she sits, she holds her leg out to the side - that's a sign of knee pain. If she has a partially torn CCL, that would explain the intermittent symptoms.
Sorry this is so late; our life's been in babysitting the pooch for 12 weeks. just getting back to normal now.
