My shelter gets lots of toys and collars, and clorox isn't as glamorous, but we go through a lot of it and there is no substitute for it.

We also get more shampoo than we can handle, but boy, clipper blades or arranging to get ours sharpened would make a world of difference. We can send some dogs and cats out to a groomer, but not all that need clipping. (maybe ask if they can use those, probably not all can).

I don't know how other shelters are, we get more than enough food, but half as much of a little better quality would be better. Also, we get lots of donated cat food, but we are chronically short of kitten food.

Just in case people wonder what would make the most difference.
