We just got a 6 month old dog a few days ago. We believe he has been abused after seeing how he reacts to different situations.
However, the one situation that we're having a hard time with is at night when we put him in the laundry room and he just howls all night. I think in the past two day I've gotten 4 hours of sleep.
I have read different things such as sitting in there with him to let him know it's a 'fun' place but as soon as I leave he starts whimpering and howling again.
Please, I need help. I don't want to have to get rid of him but his howling is keeping the whole house up, including my 13 month old daughter.
