I'm not worried about the certification... I thought she was very open and that is what I want more than anything... someone that will tell me what they know but just as much that will tell me when they don't know.

I don't mind you keeping my email. It was only my real address that I was concerned about. And thanks for understanding about that. Kids are waiting again, though, so I have to be short again. Oh, the joys of limited resources. :o)

Short version... finished the barium xrays and they are inconclusive. There is barium retained in the stomach but if it is not a fold in the stomach lining and is *something* it is not big enough to justify the risks of surgery. This is the substitute vet, the usual vet was off today.

The sub doesn't know what it is. He briefly mentioned pancreas as a possibility to look into. He also thought it might not be much of anything... that dogs vomit a lot and it usually isn't anything to worry about (don't know if he read all her history or not, I didn't tell him). He said several times that whatever retained the barium in that small spot is not blocking anything or she would not be so bright and happy (I think she figured she was at a doggie day care and was waiting for the play time... she was very happy there). This guy didn't see her last week when she drooped and didn't wag her tail even for me.

He recommended small meals more often and wait and see if that helps.

She is home and happy and feeling good right now.

Our Chinese med appointment is the 30th... when I made the appointment, I thought she was probably going to have surgery today and the vet had something going on her usual accupuncture day so another week was good for her too.

I'm going to do that and also do a lot of research on digestive systems and as much as I can about anything that might help... including revisiting possible stress factors... I've thought of a few more of those too.

Lol, so much for short... my dc are awesome and I need to go appologize for stretching my "just a minuet".
