Feel free to tell her that it's one of Dr. Connie DiNatale's clients who is being the bulldozer pushing you in this direction. And these vets call and consult with each other lots of times so if she needs to talk to Dr. D tell me and I'll tell Dr. D to expect her call (since I got you IN to this).

Billy is also one of Dr. Xie's patients (Dr. Xie IS the "Chi Institute" - it's his brainchild). It was Dr. Xie who helped pull Billy thru the IMHA all those weeks when Billy was up at UF and if she's seen any of Dr. Xie's lectures on auto-immune disease she's probably seen pictures of Billy.

The herbology part is deep but I think this is something pretty well established so I don't think you'll be flying out in the ozone alone.

I'm not name-dropping to be a pain -- only to help. Dr. Xie and Dr. DiNatale BOTH know I'm out here on messageboards all the time encouraging people to try TCVM.

I'm gonna link in to a message that one of the girls on my other board posted -- not to 'compete' that board against Canine club (how could ANYTHING be like our home here?) but she has a husky who has seizures and SHE got into a TCVM vet she found on that list. You'll see all the responses good and bag -- but Bear's reaction is pretty typical.

There's a huge difference between a working knowledge of the herbs and being 'certified' so I wouldn't worry over-much. And sometimes there's a really good thing when a vet is learning new stuff still and isn't set in their ways.

If you can get your hands on "Four Paws Five Directions" by Cheryl Schwartz (also on the faculty of the Chi Institute) it might help you -- your library might have it.

I HOPE it goes well for you!! If I can help in any way let me know. You still have my email? It's easy --

callie at critturs dot com (use the punctuation and no spaces) -- I didn't keep yours cos you asked me not to but let me know if I can help in ANY way ok?
