Low motility is probably what he's saying and Reglan would likely be the drug of choice.

HOWEVER ... I'll say that to say this -- please please don't just assume you gotta do what THIS vet says. I would tell you to check out a TCVM vet. The initial consult would be more -- but the herbs and acupuncture would likely be far far less in the long run with far far fewer side-effects.

http://www.tcvm.com is the Chi Institute

(I can only link in one link but that one is easy to type)

There is a locator on the left -- and I have had super good luck recommending people thru this. This is, I think, one of those things that once diagnosed properly, may be very helpful to just do the herbs. There may also be acupressure spots that may also help the digestion along. Could be a far less expensive way of doing it.

I don't like the threat of bloat he's holding over you -- there is actually even a surgical help for THAT. They actually surgically 'tie' the stomach in place. Very helpful in lines where they know bloat 'runs in the genetic family'.

I'm sitting here right now looking at a Chinese teapill that acts like Reglan (called "Curing Pills") -- and I'd have to wonder if it would do what the Reglan does for this.

I would surely try to consult with a TCVM vet -- could be much better all around.

He used the Regulan to 'diagnose' this is what he did. But again -- it may fade to an occasional thing once you get rid of whatever is in the tummy.
