the internet is a great thing and I'm glad teachers are utilyzing it, but three kids in high school, one in jr high and one in college make getting time on it hard to get around here.
She last ate at about 9 Sunday night, she had the diareah about 9 hours later, and vomited between 12 and 15 hours later. She was offered food about 10 hours after she last ate, and didn't eat it.
I don't know if he did a fecal last night, he tried to when I took her in the first time but she had nothing in her. It isn't on the bill and he didn't say anything about it.
He hasn't done blood tests.
The vet wasn't real clear about the meds and what each was for but he said he was giving her the something that stimulates the contraction of the stomach and small intestine (netsearch of metoclopromide says it does that). I assume the Probios is predominantly because she is on the antibiotic.
Renal, dogs. Ok, I'm overwhelmed. At the very least, the only thing I'm pretty sure of is that dandelions help her and the websites say renal diets include restricting potassium. It is like people medicine... for every saying of A, there is another saying NotA. I've been reading all this stuff, and it just seems like, again, everything makes her sicker.
It does look like a blood test should be the first step though, especially since she had that bladder infection last spring. And renal problems can cause stomach problems like she has, as best I can tell.
