The Reglan (Metoclopramide) is simply an anti-nausea drug. The Sucrylfate is JUST a stomach protectant. But he's not really getting to the bottom of what is *causing* the nausea.
Has he done blood tests? Like I'm thinking to rule out renal problems.
When she vomits WHAT does she vomit? Sorry - but it's so important. Is she vomiting food? How digested is it? And how many hours since she has eaten? Is she vomiting bile? clear liquid, green, or mucus?
Blood tests have to be about the first thing seriously -- you have to rule out kidney problems (as the worst, but it can be such a cause of other things) first.
Has he done a fecal? That will tell how much bacteria there is -- since this isn't JUST vomiting but diarreah its the whole digestive tract that is upset somehow.
I'm surprised he hasn't tried Flagyl (metranydazole) -- that's an antibiotic that settles the intestinal tract and is actually a gut anti-inflammatory.
He's not doing the stuff I'd expect I guess.
