Yesterday, I found out the city is going to take the outdoor run for a parking lot and put driveways on the front and back of our building (the other side has the gas pumps for the city vehicles) so there is no place to move the run it will just be gone. There is no where else to take the dogs, they won't let us take them off the property and there is no inside room or way to make an inside room.
I do not think I can deal with them not getting any possibility of relief, and having nowhere to work with them so they are more comfortable and more adoptable.
My boss is as upset about it as I am, but her boss and up don't understand dogs.
