a trip to the vet is in order for Frankie and it would be a good idea for Blondie to have a thorough checkup after they tend to her wounds. Sudden aggression can often be a sign of a physical problem. Dogs are so stoic that when things happend "out of the blue" (at least to us), quite often there is an underlying physical problem that we don't see. I sometimes wish dogs could complain like people so we'd know exactly when a problem started :)

Giving Blondie an exam would be a good idea, too, because dogs will often attack pack members who are unwell. Granted, Frankie's response sounds very severe but you never know.

By all means, keep your appointment with the behaviourist but get a physical exam as well. The vet might find something in one of the dogs that you can't see.

Keep us posted, OK?
