Subject:	happy fall, almost.. but not so much for Farley

after a summer of air, its suddenly sunny and hot here.. and now that its hot and sunny, Farley has (we think) sprained his hip. Doesn't want to put weight on the left rear leg. No outward signs of pain other than not liking to standon it. Vet checked the knee area / cruciate, seems tight, looks good, but a definite loss of flexibility on the hip.

How many of you have ever tried to keep a hyperactive lab quiet for3 weeks to get his hip to heal? crate rest is a fine thought, but he gets zoomies as soon as you open the door.. and talk about inspiring *pulling* on the leash!

Anyhow, just thought I'd wish everyone a good time this autumn.
