He's been wearing the leash a lot of the time in the house, and sits and waits before he gets anything, and a lot more consistance with what the rules are (like whether he can get away with grabbing the kids stuff or not). And it is showing big time.
He still grabs stuff sometimes, but not nearly as much and he will bring it and let go when asked if he does grab something. Well, to Sis or Bro anyway, not to my mother in law. But she is at least calming down about him. And she can see progress so that helps. She thinks I worked miracles with him, which I think is an exageration, but I am pleased that things are going as well as they are.
Boy, did Chammy look little and slick when I got home! She only weighs 65, and has the tight lab coat. Charlie has the Golden coat, and is not only a hundred plus pounds but also isn't as circumspect with how and where he puts all that weight.
We have new neighbors next door, and they have a yellow lab that could be Chammy's twin... the same size, same almost white color.
