When you don't have to do it at home, it can be a real pain when this dog (when you've already got E-NUFF to do) does it. But either wear an apron or something with pockets (so just shove extraneous stuff in your pocket - don't be tempted to lay it down) or something similar.
giving him some specific one on one time would be super (I get the feeling you're already run ragged tho, sorry) -- or even a toy pick up game where he plops all his toys in a bucket for a treat.
Take a couple of his toys that are chewie type things and rub just a bit of vanilla on them -- anything to freshen them and give them a touch of flavor - wouldn't be messy but should be interesting.
