Subject:	Canine Epilipsy

Am I spelling that right? I have questions :-) We are getting a 1 year old epiliptic collie in. I am picking her up Friday. She is on 100 mg of Phenobarbital a day, 50 in the morning, 50 in the evening. She is also in heat, lucky me.

I have a million questions, but I guess the first one is, she HAS to be spayed. That just HAS to happen. Can you spay an epileptic dog? Maybe that question is, how much risk am I going to be putting her in to spay her?

I will talk to the vet once I get her and see what he thinks. I was just wondering what the voices of experience might be able to tell me in the meantime.
