I have a 3 yr old. labradoodle who will go outside on the leash, but then sits down and won't budge. I'll tempt him with a treat, and continue to do so until we are walking. Never force a dog to walk by pulling on the leash. It's not good human leash etiquette. Check your energy. Are you in a good mood, bad mood, angry, tense, or frustrated? Take a deep breath and keep trying different ways to make the walk fun!
