Subject:	help me potty train my chi, max.

i have a 12 wk old chi. he is great. i need some guidence with potty training. i have him in a cage while i am at work (8 hrs a day). half of cage is potty area & the other is blanket and a couple toys. when i get home it is right out side no matter what the weather. we live in buffalo,ny. poor max hates it but i will not have him peeing all over. until bedtime he is out about ever hour. then to bed in the crate. half potty area and half blanket area. should i seperate this area only during my working hours and at night he needs to hold it? any suggestions would be appeciated. thanks so much.
