I have an almost 3 year old t-cup chihuahua-Gizmo. Ever since she was born
we have been using potty pads. She only goes to the bathroom outside once in
a great while. It's like she just doesn't get it. Now she has decided she likes our
rugs in our house. She has never gone to the bathroom on the carpet but she
just loves the rugs. So, we are wanting to try and get her to start using the
bathroom outside. It would be a lot cheaper than potty pads and we wouldn't
have to keep buying new rugs for the house. The only problem we have with
this is that my husband and I work all day, so I don't think she would wait to go
to the bathroom until we get home. Any ideas on how to train her outside after
all this time? I would be greatly appreciative of any tips.
