i tried the "drag" method as well with my 12 week old 15 pound alaskan husky. i "drug" her all the way to the park and she had planted her front two paws in front of her and was pulling, doing flips in the air, and of course hacking and wheezing. it was so embarrassing, but i just kept going hoping she would just start walking. she would take a few steps and then we would be dragging again. it was alot like "walking" a dead dog. Once we got home her back two paws had a raw spot on them as well as the front paws. i felt so horrible this had happened. what do i do?
