i am a staffordshire bull terrier handler and i am becoming a judge, and i am only 11 years of age. i have 2 staffies myself so you can ask me if you want to know anything about dogs because ive got 2 big dogs. anyway about your dogs phobia, show him/her that you can walk past your neighbours house, keep doing that until he has the confidence. another good thing to try is to walk where he/she wants to walk exept for the road, then that will also build his/her confidence up, dont drag her/him where you want to go, go where he wants to go.
