If the dog is not interested in the treats you are offering try something better like chicken or turkey hot dogs. Also please make sure that the dog is not freefed. Feed the dog on a schedule and do all training sessions before the dog is fed so that the puppy is hungry and so more interested in the treats. Also the golden rule never give a command to the dog that you are not willing to or are unable to reinforce. So keep the dog on a leahs when training. Remember you have to be more interesting than the distractions around. So at this point traing 10 minutes per day in a distraction free environment and little by little add the disctracactions. Check out www.apdt.com to find certified trainers in your area as well ;-) Dog schools are a great resource!
