My guinea pig is in a home made cage. I used storage grates, and It does not have a top. I have read that you do not need to put a top on their cage unless you have dogs or cats. Well I was away this weekend and my brother was home this weekend. He said that my guinea pig escaped twice and hid underneath my parents bed. So when I got home I made the wall higher. Why did he escape? Guinea pigs can't climb so how did he escape. Please help I dont want to loose him!
