Hi,

We purchased a parakette 3 weeks ago from a pet shop. This papakette is about 3 months old. It was the only one that was finger trained. After 3 days she started to lay down on her tummy under her water dish like she was scared. I have 3 children and a lot is going on in our home. When I moved her into my 10 year olds room which is very peaceful, the bird never hides under her water dish. Just yesterday I deceided to bring her back into the family room and there within 5 min. she was back under her water dish. I want her to be with the entire family in the family room, but I do not want her to be stressed out.
Should I get a mirror? What else do you suggest I do?
