Hiya sam happened to me,
well it was right of you to take the daddy hamster out because the mother would think her babies are in danger and may eat them.Anyways if you leave them alone and let them get on with it then she will probably not eat then however if you do touch then or the mother she will think that they are in danger and then will eat them.But if you leave then alone they will be fine.
