LOL i have the same exact cage. My hamster had babies on teh lower level thoguh. There isnt much you can do except

1) put lots of tissue at the bottom but enoguh so big mama can get throguh
2) pad the walla of the tube with kleenex or T.P

Other from that i dont know. Maybe see your local vet?
