Watch the mother and father with the babies carefully. They are jealous animals. The mother will sometimes get jealous of the babies and eat her own offspring. Some do and some don't. Which when I had two hamsters we thought were boys, we ended up with I think 10 new babies. The next morning, we found a bunch of bodies. The mother had ate her offspring. You might need to call a vets office and get as much info as possible. sincerely, Mandy
