Hi I wonder if you can help. I have the most adorable toy poodle, who is the best example of the breed I've had. I've had four. She doesn't yap like most poodles, is highly intelligent, very friendly and funny and totally loyal to me. To the point of being very clingy. Her only problem, because in every other situation she is very very obedient, is that when we take her in the car she cries, constantly to be on my knee (if I'm driving) and even when on my knee she still cries and only settles down if she is nursed like a baby high up in my arms near my face. As we are facing a nine hour journey when we move house, I am anxious to try to solve this problem for the comfort of us all. She gets very distressed and causes us irritation. What can you suggest.
