Subject:         my cat pees in the bath tub and next to the front door

I have a fixed male cat approximately 10 years old, he's the sweetest cat, and I love him, but he's always been a little wierd, he pee's in the bath tub and behind my front door (on the tile). I don't know what I can do to stop him. If my husband finds out he's going to make me put him back outside. Any ideas would be appriciated!! Also he's completely healthy, just was at the vet. Thanks
