Try Bio-Kleen, I have been using their product for years. I get it at the natural foods co-op.
Here is a description of it from biokleenhome.com:
"Bac-Out Stain & Odor Eliminator
with Live Enzyme Cultures:
It seems everyone has a Bac-Out story. Bac-Out’s live enzyme-producing cultures attack pet, food and beverage stains, organic waste, and odors until they are gone, digesting them back to nature, safely and naturally. Bac-Out is safe to use around children and pets, even birds.
• Lime Peel Extract cleaning power
• Destroys the toughest odors so they are gone for good
• Excellent for mold and mildew
• Preferred by commercial carpet cleaners nationwide "
What I like the most about it is that it doesn't have a gross, strong chemically odor. I used to use it to clean up after my old, arthritic, kidney-impaired Muffi and now I use it occasionally when Jasmine misses the box.
They are located in Vanvouver, WA but I have also been able to find their products in Minnesota. Fred Meyer also carried this product. You can even use it in carpet cleaning machines.
