About a month ago a friend of mine brought me a nest of four baby mocking birds and the same day i found a baby bluejay. the mocking birds were very young they didnt have any feathers and didnt walk. the blujay was older i found him on my deck the problem with that it that i have 5 dogs and some of them dont like birds. so i moved him a little farther from the house but after watching him for a few hours i didnt see parents around him or feeding him. after about a day of me sneeking food to him i decided to take him into my care. i alreday had baby birds formula b/c i have been raising baby doves so i fed the bluejay and the mocking birds that. once the got older i switched to cat food soked in water and bird vitamin that seemed to work well for them. now the mocking birds are fully feathered and the bluejay is much bigger but all except one mocking bird has stopped walking and the bluejay he can stand but is not very stedy and doesnt walk. the mocking birds still have heathly apatite but im worried about the bluejay he is startig to act slugish and i dont know if this means anything but the inside of hes mouth is kida pale it was kide of a pink red color when he was younger i dont know if its normal b/c hes older or if its something worse. i need to know if i have done some thing wrong and if its to late or if there is something that i should be doing or something that i can try? im really woried about thier legs, if anyone has any ideas please let me know. thanks
