Our female bird is currently nesting. She is in her nesting box the majority of the day, but whenever she comes out to eat, he attacks or won't let her eat. He never did this before she started nesting. He was always very affectionate towards her. Why is this and what can I do to prevent it? Is this normal behavior during nesting?
