No, I dont think they can produce live young, at least i've never heard of it. To tell if an egg is fertile, 3 or 5 days after it is laid, hold it over a bright light and you should be able to see blood vessels, or a small dark mass inside. I dont know that you'll have any babies from them, but if you do, be sure to let us know. That would be a really cool rare bunch of babies.
