I have raised baby robins before, and they did very well on earthworms and other insects. (worms are the easiest) Canned dog food seems to work also, but the closest to its natural diet the better. Use a tweezers to feed them with, because it is the closest thing o a birds beak. You also want to push the food into the back of the throat to help it swallow, depending on how young they are.
