Just found a baby mockingbird. Has all feathers and very little yellow left around mouth. Looks to be only a few days away from flying. Can fly a little (about 3-4 feet). Mother is having a fit but cant find the nest. Should I just leave it outside and see if the mother will feed it??? (I have a cat and there are loads of others in the area). Should I keep it for a few days and try to feed it ??? What do they eat?? Should I just forget it ???? ... let it go and hope makes it????
