My sister last night (11:22pm 5/07/04) told me there was a baby bird that the neighbors cat had almost gotten. So i went outside put it in a bucket and then found a box and put stuffing in it. I looked around for the nest but it was basically impossible being as it was dark. So I killed a couple of junebugs and then tried to feed it, luckly it ate 2, and then i guess it got tired. So i read on the internet that you are supposed to feed it 1-2 hours at night. so at 2 am i went out too see if i could feed it again, but it didn't want to get up. It was almost like a human that didn't want to get up, so i am a little worried that it is dehydrated or something. Any idea what to do? Also it looks to be pretty young, but it will ask for food by opening its mouth and making a noises. It has some feathers and fuzz and it can hop pretty good. Any help with feeding tips would be good i would hate to see this little guy die. Reply on here or e-mail me! Thanks!
