Subject: African Grey babying her foot

Hi! I'm new here. I have been on the homeschool pages for a few years now. A friend and neighbor has an African Grey Parrot who has been babying her right foot when she's on her perch. She used it when she was on the table, but you could see that she was putting most of her weight on her left foot even then. Our friend even had the lady who clips Ruby's wings and nails take a look and she didn't notice anything that looked unusual.
Has anyone run into something like this before? Any advise or feedback is appreciated.
