Hi Kristy, Well, Ive lost weight with Dr. McDougall. Vegan diet. That was a long time ago, and I have put it back on.Any of his books are good, if you want to go that route. Another one Ive read recently is the Rice Diet Solution. Now, on that you do lose at quick pace. Like a half pound a day. Its mostly vegan, but you are allowed meat protein once a week during phase two and then on phase three you are allowed meat for two days per week. www.ricedietprogram.com/ maryann
