Subject:	Caning and tomatoe soup

Hey yall Its been a rite good while since I been here.Anyway,I gro my own food.Im geting into caning.I live off grid so dont hav any fancy gadgets.I want to make tomatoe soup then can it for the winter.Im looking for a simple recipe or way to make the soup from raw tomatoes.Do I mash them up or boil the tomatoes hole? Id be obliged for any advice.
