Most TVP is made from defatted soy flour,
so use it anytime you like.

TVP "Chicken" Salad
1 cup TVP chunks
3 cups water
2 Tbs gluten-free vegetarian "chicken" bouillon
1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
2 stalks celery, chopped
1/3 cup veg mayo (or to taste)
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Bring water and bouillon to boil.
Add poultry seasoning and TVP.
Simmer 30 minutes, stirring often.
If pan gets dry, add more water + bouillon.
Cool TVP in broth in fridge.
To make salad, drain TVP "chicken".
Put into a bowl, and add celery,
salt and pepper to taste, and mayo.
Mix well.
Serve portions on a bed of salad greens.
