Subject:	Soy yoghurt

I just bought a Tribest yoghurt maker, and have not been successful with trying to make soy yoghurt. The first attempt was my fault, I used vanilla flavored Westsoy, but yesterday I tried again, using 8th Continent Original, and all I got after 12 hours was a bowl of warm milk. The instructions with this appliance says to use 1gm (1/2 teaspoon) of their starter, but on the starter bottle, it says to use 1/2 gm (1/4 teaspoon), any ideas?
