Subject:	Are Homemade Vegan Marshmallows just a dream?

Chef Deb, (or anyone else for that matter,) do you have a "fool proof" recipe to make vegan marshmallows? I would like to have them by the 4th of July for my son, who's been begging me, and no one around town carries them, not that I would want to buy them for 6+ dollars a box!
It would have to be a recipe that doesn't call for Emes Kosher gel, of course. I would have to be sure what kind of gelling agent it is calling for, as in agar agar or carrageen.
